The Ministry of Health issued a recall by the manufacturer of a batch of organic ginger powder under the Sottolestelle brand for the “presence of ethylene oxide exceeding the permitted legal limits”. The affected product it is sold in bags of 200 grams with the lot number 200411Z and the minimum shelf life 31/10/2021.
The recalled ginger was produced by the Sottolestelle Srl company in the Costarelle district SS 273 km 12, in San Giovanni Rotondo, in the province of Foggia. As a precaution, it is recommended not to consume the product with the indicated batch number and to return it to the point of purchase.
