SQUARE ENIX cooperates with Cyber Group Studios, an animation studio in Paris, France, to create animation works suitable for children to watch based on “Final Fantasy IX”.

“Final Fantasy IX” was launched on the PlayStation platform on July 7, 2000. And this cooperation will be the first attempt to adapt the “Final Fantasy” series of works into children-oriented content. It will target the 8 to 13-year-old children to watch the group. It is expected to be produced at the end of this year or early next year, and will be produced by Cyber Group Studios. Responsible for production, global distribution and other services, SQUARE ENIX is to provide authorized use of content.

Prior to this, the “Final Fantasy” series of works have also been adapted into many animation works, including the work of the same name “Final Fantasy” released in 1994, and “Space Warrior: Hurrying Wind Realm” (FF:U) released in 2021. , And the “Space Warrior VII: Advent Children” launched in 2005 made many fans look forward to the possibility of a “Final Fantasy VII” remake (later it was confirmed to be remade, and the game was officially launched last year), and it was launched in 2016 “King’s Sword Final Fantasy XV” is to complement the “Final Fantasy XV” game story.
