Tangshan included the emergency industry as one of the key development industries for urban transformation and upgrading, and compiled the “High-quality Development Plan for Tangshan Modern Emergency Equipment Industry” and supporting policies to promote technologies and emergency response such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and 5G communications. The industry is deeply integrated, and six emergency industrial bases have been built. The emergency equipment industry involves more than 100 products in natural disaster protection, accident disaster rescue, personal protection, etc., in key areas such as intelligent rescue equipment, high-strength steel structures, and barrier and explosion-proof materials. It has mastered international leading technology, and its product innovation capability ranks in the forefront of the industry.
