As every year, the event starts with a keynote. Apple promises innovations for all of its operating systems, including iOS and macOS.
Apple has its annual developer conference, Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) announced. This year it will take place from June 10th to 14th. To mark the opening, the company invites you to a “special event” in Apple Park.
According to the company, the focus will be on the latest developments in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. Apple is expected to introduce new versions of all of its operating systems, which will also offer new AI-based functions. Specifically, in addition to iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS 15, the company is also expected to introduce watchOS 11, tvOS 18 and visionOS 2.0.
“We’re excited to connect with developers from around the world for an exceptional week focused on technology and community,” said Susan Prescott, vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations at Apple. “WWDC is about sharing new ideas and providing our amazing developers with innovative tools and resources to help them create something even greater.”
Anyone interested can register for the opening event with keynote via Apple’s developer website and developer app. However, the company points out that the number of participants is limited. As every year, it should also be possible to follow the keynote live on the Internet. In addition, developers should attend the individual events virtually via the developer app, the website and YouTube. There will also be video sessions and the opportunity to exchange ideas with Apple employees.
