Banca Generali closed the first half of 2021 with a net profit of 190.1 million euros, up 44% compared to the previous year. Total revenues rose to 432.7 million (+ 43%), while ‘core’ operating costs amounted to 101.4 million (+ 4.6%). At the end of the semester
the Bank has in fact reached and exceeded the net inflows target envisaged in the 2019-2021 three-year business plan, realizing net flows of € 14.8 billion (the goal was to exceed 14.5 billion) and exceeded the higher target of assets reaching 80.4 billion (against the range of € 76-80 billion). “The best half year in our history driven by strong growth in commercial and financial results, with a positive contribution from all revenue items. We achieved the most ambitious objectives of the three-year plan in terms of masses and deposits 6 months in advance: the growth momentum of over 80 billion was driven by deposits and flows of new customers above our expectations and the positive trend also of the first weeks of July leads us to raise the forecasts for the end of the year in a range between € 5.5-6.0 billion “, remarked the CEO and General Manager of Banca Generali, Gian Maria Mossa.
