Banks, 4.7 billion more in a year but loans down by 19 billion

In addition to the results of the first banks, according to the Unimpresa Study Center, from 2020 to 2021, Banca Generali had quarterly profits of 135 million, Banca Mediolanum for 133 million, Banco Desio for 20 million, Fineco Bank for 94 million, Popolare Sondrio for 59 million: in total, these five institutions have put together 441 million. As for the top seven banks in the country, Intesa Sanpaolo had profits, in the first three months of the year, for 1.5 billion, Unicredit for 887 million, Bper for more than 400 million, Banco Bpm for over 100 million, Monte dei Paschi Siena for 119 million, Credem for 62 million, Creval for 28 million. On the credit side, those of Intesa Sanpaolo went from 460.1 billion to 461.7 billion, an increase of 0.4%, those of Unicredit fell from 489.9 billion to 446.6 billion, a decrease of 8 , 8%, those of Bper rose from 53.1 billion to 75.3 billion, an increase of 42.19%, those of Mps fell from 82.6 billion to 82.2 billion with a contraction of 0.5% , those of Credem ranged from 34.3 billion to 34.5 billion, up by 0.45 billion, those of Creval fell from 19.6 billion to 19.4 billion, down 1.1%. Overall, the top seven banks in the country cut loans to the real economy, that is to families and businesses, by 18.8 billion: the total stock of loans went from 1,249.1 billion to 1,230.2 billion, a decrease of 1.5%.
