Citizenship income, Guerra: ‘It is not cut to poor families who will have the single allowance’

ROMA – Families with children are poorer than others, and the difficulties increase in correspondence with the number of children: this is confirmed by the data released by Istat, which show a sharp increase in absolute poverty due to the pandemic. This is why, affirms the Undersecretary for the Economy Maria Cecilia Guerra, the rule that provides that families who will have the single allowance from 1 July suffer a sharp reduction in the part of citizenship income referring to children is inequitable.
