The Draghi government is preparing to present the Economic and Financial Document (Def) which will contain a clear revision of the growth estimates. According to what was reported by various press agencies, the draft of the Def indicates a GDP at + 3.1% in 2022 compared to the + 4.7% previously forecast. An estimate that is higher than the less optimistic ones of Confindustria (+ 1.9%) and Prometeia (+ 2.2%). For the next year, on the other hand, the estimate is + 2.4% compared to the + 2.8% indicated previously.
Confirmed the 2022 deficit / GDP target at 5.6% and then down to 3.9% in 2023.
