The rest goes to used cars (20 million), motorcycles, scooters, tricycles and quadricycles (32.5 million to electric ones and 5 to combustion engine ones), commercial vehicles (53 million), long-term rental (50 million) , installation of LPG and methane systems on cars (10 million).
I bonus auto
The plan developed by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy provides, in the absence of scrapping, a contribution of 6 thousand euros in the 0-20 range, 4 thousand in the 21-60 range while there is no bonus in the third emissions category. The amount increases progressively if it is scrapped, based on how old and therefore polluting the vehicle is. By scrapping a Euro 4 you will be able to benefit from 9 thousand euros in the 0-20 range, 5,500 in the 21-60 range and 1,500 in the 61-135 range. With a Euro 3 you go to 10 thousand euros, 6 thousand and 2 thousand euros. With a Euro 0, 1 or 2 there is a jump, respectively, to 11 thousand euros, 8 thousand and 3 thousand euros. For all these incentives there is a maximum price threshold for the model that can be purchased, excluding VAT, set at 35 thousand euros in the emission bands 0-20 and 61-135 and at 45 thousand euros in the intermediate 21-60 one. In the case of the first two emission bands, the 25% increase applies for individual members of a family unit with ISEE under 30 thousand euros, therefore reaching up to 13,500 euros for electric cars. For low incomes there is also the possibility of accessing by scrapping a Euro 5 and in this case the bonus is 8 thousand euros in the 0-20 range and 5 thousand in the 21-60 range.
The other vehicles
The previews of recent months for the other vehicles have also been confirmed. There is also room for used cars, Euro 6 with emissions of up to 160g/km of CO2 and a price of up to 25 thousand euros: the incentive to purchase them is 2 thousand euros by scrapping a vehicle from Euro 0 to Euro 4.
For electric motorbikes, scooters, tricycles and quadricycles there is a contribution of 30% up to 3 thousand euros which rises to 40% (up to 4 thousand euros) with scrapping of a vehicle from Euro 0 to Euro 3. For non-electric models, up to to Euro 5, a 40% discount up to 2,500 euros is provided but only on condition that the seller applies an additional reduction of at least 5% and that a vehicle from Euro to Euro 3 is scrapped.
For commercial vehicles the bonus grid is more complex, taking into account fuel supply, total mass on the ground and whether or not the vehicle needs to be scrapped. They range from a minimum of one thousand euros (under 1.5 tons, internal combustion engine with scrapping) to a maximum of 18 thousand euros (between 4.25 and 7.2 tons, electric or hydrogen with scrapping).
