Egypt: aim to create 20 healthcare facilities in 2024

Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population said in a statement that 30 hospitals were built and developed in 2023 and that the goal for 2024 is to add 20 more spread across eleven governorates.

The budget allocated is 10.9 billion pounds (over 220 million dollars) thanks to which 2,747 beds will be created, of which 459 in intensive care units and the facilities will be provided with 527 dialysis devices, 441 incubators and 96 rooms operations.
