Ford beats Toyota in Pickup Rankings
In a surprising turn of events, Ford has emerged victorious in the battle of pickup trucks against Toyota. According to the JD Power company, Ford’s Ranger and Maverick have surpassed the Tacoma in ratings.
While the Tacoma has long been a favorite among pickup enthusiasts, the Ranger and Maverick have proven to be formidable competitors. The Ranger, known for its durability, and the newly-released Maverick have both received higher ratings than the Tacoma.
The Maverick, in particular, has gained popularity as a more manageable option for those in the market for a pickup truck. Despite being re-released in 2021, four decades after its initial launch, the Maverick has quickly gained a reputation for its performance and versatility.
JD Power’s rankings, which are based on customer experience, positioned the Maverick just one point below the Ranger, with a total score of 82 points. The Tacoma, on the other hand, trailed slightly behind with a score of 81 points, securing its place in the top three pickups.
