MILANO – 4 pm European stock exchanges are moving cautiously while Wall Street is more optimistic, with operators betting on positive data for the sector coming from the quarterly. An optimism that made itself felt especially on the Asian markets, which regained momentum after yesterday’s slowdown linked to the slowdown in Chinese GDP. However, there are signs of concern for the markets: US rates are under observation after the rate curve has increasingly flattened in recent days, with short-term yields rising and long-term yields falling, signals that economists usually associate possible future phases of economic slowdown.

In Europe the day remains on the line of caution: the Ftse 100’s London is in fractional decline, the Cac 40’s Paris yields 0.2% while the Dax of Frankfurt salt by 0.2%. TO Milano the Ftse Mib marks + 0.14%. Wall Street opens up on the wake of the positive quarterly figures. The Dow Jones is up 0.31%, the S&P 500 is up 0.34% and the Nasdaq is up 0.32%

In the morning, the Asian stock exchanges closed in positive ground: the Composite index of Shanghai rises by 0.70%, to 3,593.15 points, while that of Shenzhen it gained 0.86%, reaching 2,422.64. The closing of Tokyo which earns 0.65%.

Among currencies, theeuro it is up against the dollar: at 1.165 against the dollar, up by 0.36%, returning to the levels recorded at the end of last week. The US currency also weakened against the pound (-0.36% to $ 0.725) and against the yen (-0.16% to 114.11 yen). Still stable it spread: the spread is positioned at 104 basis points, compared to yesterday’s close, with the yield of the Italian ten-year unchanged at 0.89%.
