Why does the Italian economy in this 2021 record trends that are higher than expected and better than those of the European partners? It essentially depends on three factors, manufacturing, construction and internal demand: two of which, however, are strong points today because they started from a base compromised by great accumulated weaknesses. And not resolved today either. In terms of numbers, in fact, the latest update of the EU autumn forecasts sees Italy’s GDP grow by + 6.2% in this 2021, compared to + 2.7% in Germany, with a similar trend for the following years. 2022, with a growth of more than 4%, and by 2023 Italy again better than Germany with us above 2% and them below.
