Shock from the US Labor Market: In August, the US economy created only +235,000 new jobs, far worse than estimates. Economists interviewed by Dow Jones had predicted the creation of 720,000 new jobs, down from +943,000 in July. The unemployment rate fell from 5.4% to 5.2%, in line with expectations.
