The web drama “Flying Life and Love Chapter”, a creative movie drama linkage template from Alibaba Entertainment Drama Studio, has recently made waves in the entertainment industry. Following the success of the series, several film and television companies have expressed interest in partnering for future drama-movie linkages. Shisui Studio is already gearing up to adapt a Chinese-style animation IP, following its successful animation work on Youku’s Animation Channel in 2023.
Looking ahead, Alibaba Entertainment has exciting projects in the pipeline, including the urban drama “The City of Dance” starring Zhong Hanliang and Qin Lan; the suspense adventure drama “The Player” featuring Zhang Yunlong and Deng Jiajia; and the costume romance drama “Half a City of Flowers and Rain Accompanying the King” with Chen Yao and Liang Jingkang in lead roles.
