Changsha Concert Hall launches “Classical Music Collection” HD screening series

To this end, Changsha Concert Hall launched the “Classical Music Collection” high-definition screening series, showing the concert scene of the world‘s top symphony orchestras, making music fans a feast for the ears.
The “Classical Music Collection” series includes 4 major sections and 12 performances, which last from June 25 to December 24. This Saturday afternoon, the first two concerts will be played, both of which are concerts in the Berlin Woods. Every summer, the Berlin Philharmonic conducts open-air concerts with a clear theme at the Waldbühne in the western suburbs of Berlin. This time, “Hollywood Nights” in 2015 and “Czech Nights” in 2016 were played.
On “Hollywood Nights”, the Berlin Philharmonic gathered with many artists and filmmakers, including conductor Simon Rattle, famous filmmakers Darth Vader, Ben Hull, etc. In this concert, Lang Lang used a piece of Grieg’s “Piano Concerto in A Minor” to make the natural atmosphere of the Nordic wilderness waft in the air of Berlin.
Georgian violinist Lisa Bhatiyashvili and Canadian conductor Yannick Nej Segon join the Berlin Philharmonic at “Czech Nights”. Together, the artists presented a programme of all Czech works, starting with Smetana’s famous “Vltava”, followed by the much-loved Dvorak, among which “No. 6” The Symphony is the core piece of the concert.
