NOVI LIGURE. On Sunday 7 November, in the second appointment at the Marenco Theater in Novi Ligure, returned to its splendor, there will also be the delivery of the Lavagnino Actor Award 2021 awarded to Anna Mazzamauro.
It will be the Alexandria Classical Orchestra, with the participation of Roberto Ranfaldi (shoulder violin of the Rai National Symphony Orchestra), to give life to yet another event of the now over twenty-year Lavagnino Festival.
Music, especially filmic, will be the absolute protagonist of the concert scheduled for Sunday 7 November entitled: “Welcome to the theater: soundtracks on stage”: the notes of Vivaldi, Lavagnino, Rustichelli, Cicognini, Piazzolla, Bacalov and Morricone will relive on stage of this extraordinary jewel of 19th century architecture.
The AF Lavagnino Festival, one of the longest-running musical-film festivals on the national scene, which has always been artistically directed by Luciano Girardengo and dedicated to Angelo Francesco Lavagnino, prolific and attentive composer of cultured music and films, will deliver the award this year to the theater and cinema actress Anna Mazzamauro, best known to the general public for having interpreted Signorina Silvani, the impossible love of the accountant Fantozzi who on 2 occasions obtained the nomination for the Silver Ribbon as best supporting actress for this role.
Giulio Graglia, artistic director of the Marenco theater, will lead the evening, accompanied by the prose, cinema and fiction actress Gilda Postiglione and Danilo Bruni, actor and voice actor, “the Piedmontese voice” par excellence, who in 2006 presented to the world the Turin Olympics.
“The most beautiful films in the place of musical culture par excellence: the rediscovered theater of our Novi, right in the city center”, comments Luciano Girardengo, proud and enthusiastic to be part of a large project for the recovery of a cultural heritage that will range from 360 ° through the different performing arts.
Also on Sunday 7 November, throughout the day, groups of 20 people, starting in the morning, will be able to participate in exclusive guided tours, organized by the artistic director of the Theater, Giulio Graglia.
With him you will be able to discover the most secret and fascinating spaces, from behind the scenes to the artists’ dressing rooms, from the stage to the gallery, with the very rare opportunity to silently attend the rehearsals, an unusual opportunity to finally become familiar with new spaces of beauty and knowledge.
