Mexican actress Grettell Valdéz recently shared a series of videos on her Instagram Stories, revealing her serious health crisis. In the videos, Valdéz expressed her frustration at being sick, stating, “I hate being sick, this virus is killing me,” while showing images connected to a serum.
She went on to explain that she had been diagnosed with salmonella after experiencing great weakness and being unable to move. Valdéz shared, “You don’t know the weekend I spent. Salmonella confirmed, with the studies they did on me. I had to speed up the process, intravenously.”
Despite her ordeal, the 47-year-old actress expressed gratitude towards her doctor and her friend for their care. Valdéz, known for her roles in soap operas like “What Life Stole from Me” and “Rebel Angel,” also received an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues.
Currently filming the series “Juana The Virgin,” Valdéz appreciated the messages of love and support she has received during her recovery. While she did not disclose how she fell ill, she reassured fans that she is now on the mend.
