Music and Culture Bring Prosperity to Rural Village at the Foot of Gaoting Mountain
In a beautiful display of unity and common prosperity, students from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music recently brought music and culture to Gaocheng Village at the foot of Gaoting Mountain. The cultural performance, titled “Zhijiang Unity·Public Welfare Lights Up the Countryside—Our Village Gala·Country Music Festival,” lit up the small village with musical instruments, vocals, and performances that delighted the villagers and created a memorable experience for all in attendance.
The event, organized by the Shangcheng District CPPCC Co-Prosperity Committee Studio, aimed to showcase the talents of the students while also promoting rural revitalization and cultural enrichment in the area. Since its establishment in September 2022, the studio has been working tirelessly to integrate the democratic parties’ talents and resources to benefit the rural communities and promote tourism and cultural activities.
“Today’s sending music to the countryside is to let more rural people understand Western music and vocal music, and to make rural life more colorful,” said Wei Wu Yun, a leading member of the Tongxin·Gongfu Committee Studio. The cultural performance not only entertained the villagers but also brought a sense of joy and enrichment to their lives.
Yu Jianguo, the secretary of the Party branch of Gaocheng Village, expressed his gratitude for the event and its positive impact on the community. “This performance fully meets the spiritual and cultural needs of the masses, making the villagers’ lives richer and the environment more beautiful, while also becoming mentally happy,” he said. By promoting cultural activities and events, the village hopes to create a civilized, healthy, happy, and harmonious cultural atmosphere that will benefit the residents and contribute to the prosperity of the rural area.
