SYDNEY (AP) — Several people were stabbed and police shot another at a shopping center in Sydney, media reported Saturday.

According to information from ABC TV in Australia, authorities evacuated shoppers from the Westfield Shopping Center in Bondi Junction.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that four people were stabbed to death.

Police could not immediately be reached to confirm the reports.
