Strega Prize, the seven finalists gathered in Arezzo for a public meeting

AREZZO. The finalists of the Strega Prize arrive in Arezzo for the first time in the history of the Prize. They are Mario Desiati, Claudio Piersanti, Marco Amerighi, Veronica Raimo, Fabio BacĆ , Alessandra Carati and Veronica Galletta. The finalist authors will hold a public meeting for the first time in the history of the Award tomorrow, Sunday 26 June. The event will conclude the third edition of Ā«Arezzo of the readersĀ», the third stage of the itinerant cultural project Ā«The city of readersĀ», promoted by the Cr Firenze Foundation and the Wimbledon Aps Association, under the direction of Gabriele Ametrano.

Each year, the Arezzo appointment of the festival brings leading authors, illustrators, translators and curators to Tuscany with the aim of promoting literature and book culture. At 8 pm, at the Medici Fortress, Mario Desiati, Claudio Piersanti, Marco Amerighi, Veronica Raimo, Fabio BacĆ , Alessandra Carati and Veronica Galletta will talk with the journalist Federico D’Ascoli.
