The Banking Association (AB) led by Sergio Palazzo and the business chambers of the activity agreed today on an initial salary for February of more than one million pesos as an advance, and a bonus for Banking Day of almost 885 thousand pesos.
The numbers of the banker’s agreement
The national leadership reported in a statement that this income for this month will be made up of 991,347.87 pesos as initial salary and another 44,774.73 pesos for participation in profits (ROE), which will give a total of 1,036,122, 60 pesos.
Unionists and businessmen agreed on an update of 0.60 percent for January, which covered the inflationary difference for the month, as provided for in the minutes of agreement.
“Based on last January’s salaries and that update, a cumulative advance of 14 percent of what was received the previous month was incorporated for all conventional and non-conventional remunerations and additional payments,” the union said.
The salary increase for February is in advance, since if inflation exceeds 14 percent it will be adjusted automatically, so banking entities must immediately apply the corresponding retroactive difference.
In addition, the bonus for Banking Day, which is celebrated every November 6 and is non-working, was determined at 883,752.33 pesos, indicated the union organization.
“The Bank continues to fight tirelessly for the real income of the activity’s workers, safeguarding and improving their purchasing power,” Palazzo emphasized.
