The similarity between Nino Formicola – the Gaspare who for years paired with Zuzzurro – and Fausto Coppi is nothing new: the catchphrase sometimes re-emerged even in the dialogues of the famous comic duo. But now Formicola will really play the role of the Great Heron: it will happen on Saturday 22 January for the opening of the season at the Teatro della Juta in Arquata: with Sabina Negri he will be the protagonist of “Angelo Fausto Coppi-The hero born a farmer”, where the champion and the man, starting from the adultery affair that provoked a trial.
The dates of “Re-Match” alternate between Arquata and Gavi, a new season organized by Commedia Community with Officine Gorilla and the two Municipalities and with the support of the Crt Foundation and the Region through Piemonte dal Vivo.
The first appointment at the Civico di Gavi will be Thursday 27 with the Yo Yo Mundi who will soundtrack the film “Sciopero” by Ejzenstejn, while on 10 February Andrea Zorzi and Beatrice Visibelli will be staged with “The legend of the flying volleyball player”, where sport becomes metaphor of life. On February 12, in Arquata, Alessio Negro and Andrea Borgogno will play two contemporary clowns, engaged in the welcoming ceremony of an elusive president. Romina Mondello will be in Gavi on 4 March with “Jackie”, from the text by Elfriede Jelinek, Nobel Prize for Literature 2004, on the story of Jacqueline Kennedy. Two days later, on the 6th, a new stop at Juta di Arquata with «Shakespearology», two imaginary chats with the greatest playwright of Western culture.
It is produced by Crack24 «Le prénom-Cena among friends», a text that has also inspired cinema: it will be a guest in Gavi on March 19th. On the 26th at the Juta Antonio Ornano will propose «L’ornano furioso», written by the comedian with three colleagues: a journey to discover human frailties. Another light moment on 9 April in Gavi with Claudio Lauretta, aka Mister Voice, accompanied by Sandro Picollo on guitar: the show is entitled «Imitamorfosi». On 22 April, at Juta, «Nocturnal stories for free people» with Simone Repetto and three musicians. A show that mixes stories, music and poetry.
«Bikila», on May 7 in Gavi, is a production of Commedia Community and Teatro della Juta: on stage Davide Fabbrocino, from a text by Davide Ravan and Luca Zilovich dedicated to the great Ethiopian marathoner. Last appointment on May 14 at Juta: «A story drawn in the air» with Guido Castiglia about a young woman who found herself at the center of the mafia massacres.
