Shooting barrage game “Serious Sam: Tormental” (Serious Sam: Tormental) has been launched on Steam and is open to early access, celebrating the official launch of the game with a limited time discount of 25%.
“Heavy Arms: Torment of Mind” was proposed and created by the independent game development team Croteam in 2019. After joining hands with the world-renowned independent game publisher Devolver Digital, the game level has been successfully upgraded and is ready for players to come and unlock it!
Players will go deep into the depths of abandoned temples in this game, dig into the subconscious of the demigod “Mad Cow”, understand what enemies, weapons and props he wants to use in the real world, and then use those ideas as their own.
This game is a roguelike game. Players will collect and combine gun components step by step to form unique and powerful weapons, and complete various challenges to unlock more new worlds, characters, weapons and upgrades.
In addition, local multiplayer mode is also supported to play with teammates, face stronger bosses, compete (or share) experience, and revive allies by picking up the talisman of life.
“Heavy Arms: Torment of the Mind” will add a new area “The Fortress (provisional translation: Soul Fortress)” in the future full version, and there will be new hostile creatures and elite monsters in the area, as well as “torment”. “Torment” is a special gameplay mechanism in the game, which will pre-set the player’s starting weapons, abilities and environmental conditions, and the results of each round will be ranked on the leaderboard.
More weapons, add-ons, abilities, quests and background music will be released in the next update, and there will even be a brand new character added to the game – “Ugh Zan Jr” !
