An Italian in the Top 10 of the Global Student Prize 2021

He was selected from among 3,500 students from 94 countries and finished in the Top 10 of the Global Student Prize 2021 with 9 other finalists from Canada, Kenya, Nigeria, India, USA, UK, Brazil. We are talking about the Italian Mirko Cazzato who has conquered this position thanks to the social startup “Mabasta” against bullying and cyberbullying and is now in the running for the $ 100,000 prize.

The Apulian student Cazzato has just turned 20, he graduated in 2020 from the “Galilei-Costa” Institute in Lecce and is now attending a course at the WeDo Academy. In 2016 he was 14 years old, he attended the first year in high school and, together with the other students of his class, he gave birth to the social startup “Mabsta” which has the mission described in its acronym: Anti Bullying Movement Animated by Teen Students.
