A route dedicated to physical activity in the pine forest north of Avezzano. The intervention which is part of the “Sport in the Parks” project, prepared by the company, is underway “Sport and Health“ , by the ANCI and with a specific memorandum of understanding, the Municipality of Avezzano joined. The project involves the creation, within the pine forest, of an area dedicated to carrying out physical activities through the installation of specific equipment: the free body circuit, for at least 8 users at the same time, 8 stations with isotonic training machines , cardio also for the disabled and children. The Municipality will carry out a lighting and video surveillance system project for the areas subject to the current intervention and, under the direction of engineer Roberto Laurenzi, has entrusted the works for the construction of building structures that will support the sports equipment with and as will be the path for motor activity was created. The project also includes a series of agreements with the city’s sports associations and clubs for the use of the new outdoor sports area. A further step in the creation of a sort of sports city in the northern area of Avezzano, given that this latter structure, which is also outdoors and can be used all year round, is close to the other sports facilities of the city, largely the subject of redevelopment and improvement interventions.
