Nintendo Switch fans of Bear and Breakfast will have to wait longer than expected to play the game, as developer Gummy Cat announced that the game’s Switch platform version will be delayed.
The reason for the delay was that the developers were not happy with the controller gameplay at the current time, so it was decided that the game needed to spend extra time in the oven.
“While making the Bears game, we realized that playing with a controller wasn’t as good as we wanted and required more time in the oven. We wanted the game to be as good as possible for all players on every platform. Consider By this point, we’re announcing that Bear and Breakfast’s release date on Switch will be pushed back.
As for when the Switch version will launch, we’ve been told it’s expected in “a few months at most”.
It should also be noted that this delay will not affect the PC version of the game, as the delay will still drop on July 28. The problem is, at launch, the PC version won’t support the controller, as the feature will arrive at a later date and within the same time frame as the Switch version.
