Elon Musk, with a net worth of $ 177 billion, is the second richest man in the world (Forbes data of 20 August 2021). But what he’s accomplishing in his life is priceless: he produces (almost) self-driving electric supercars, builds rockets to transport humans to Mars, and microchips to connect our brains to computers.
This 50-year-old born in Pretoria, South Africa, who built his fortune through Canada and then Silicon Valley, looks like a new Marty McFly just back from the future, with a clear idea of how to build it.
With his plans and ideas, for many on the edge of science fiction, Musk will land in Turin on September 24th, to participate in the Italian Tech Week. At the Officine Grandi Riparazioni, hub of art and innovation in the Piedmontese city, Musk will meet John Elkann for a dialogue on technology and the future. Only 500 people, due to anti-Covid restrictions, will be able to watch the conversation.
A small number of tickets can be won by following the Italian Tech LinkedIn and Instagram pages. Those who will not be able to participate in the presence, will still be able to follow theevent in streaming on the Repubblica and La Stampa websites and on the Live Now platform.
