FIFTEEN associations active in the field of breast cancer come together to form the new regional Delegation of Europa Donna in Emilia-Romagna. The Movement that protects the rights to the prevention and treatment of breast cancer thus opens its fifth “regional section (after those already launched in Liguria, Sicily, Umbria and Abruzzo), with the aim of contributing to the clinical-organizational decisions that regulate the behaviors and results of the health structures of the Region and to obtain, through constant dialogue with the Regional Body, better care and assistance for all patients.
“The birth of the Emilia-Romagna section of Europa Donna is good news for everyone – commented Raffaele Donini, Councilor for health policies of the Emilia-Romagna Region. There will be two representatives of the Delegation: Romina Cattivelli for Emilia and Patrizia Bagnolini for Romagna, in particular in the Regional Commission for the Breast Network, the body responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Breast Units.
