Since the beginning of the epidemic, 385,321 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 145 more than on Wednesday, out of a total of 19,497 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since Wednesday is 0.7%. The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 51 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, among the new positives 65 were already in isolation at the time of swab execution, 81 were identified within already known foci. The average age of new positives on Thursday is 35.5.
Of the 51 asymptomatic, 31 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 7 through tests for the risk categories introduced by the Region, 2 with serological screenings, 1 through pre-hospitalization tests. An epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 10 cases. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna and Parma both with 26 new cases, followed by Cesena (18) and Modena (16); then Reggio Emilia and Ravenna (both with 13 cases), Piacenza (11), Rimini (10) and Forlì (9). Then the Imolese district (2) and finally Ferrara (1). These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon on Thursday on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region.
In the Ravenna area
For the province of Ravenna, 13 cases were recorded on Thursday: 8 males and 5 females; 2 asymptomatic and 11 with symptoms; 13 in home isolation and no hospitalization. In detail: 2 from contact tracing; 3 for symptoms; 6 private test; 2 tests for returning from abroad. The swabs performed were 1124. On Thursday, the Region reported no deaths. 33 healings were reported. The total cases diagnosed since the beginning of the infection in the Ravenna area are 30,427.

The active cases, that is the actual patients, on Thursday are 9,220 (-1,103 compared to Wednesday). Of these, people in isolation at home, i.e. those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 8,822 (-1,072), 95.7% of all active cases.
Unfortunately, there are 4 new deaths: 2 in the province of Bologna (two women aged 64 and 69), 1 in the province of Modena (a woman aged 78) and 1 in Cesena (a woman aged 68). In total, there have been 13,225 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
The patients admitted to intensive care are 63 (-6 compared to Wednesday), 335 those in the other Covid departments (-25).
