Daily infections from coronavirus in Italy. While yesterday the people turned out positive ai test there were 2,079, today the figure drops by over 150 units, stopping at 1,901. An even more important decline if we also consider the increase in tampons processed: 217,610 tests were carried out today against 205 thousand yesterday. Numbers that bring down the rate of positivity below the 1% threshold reached yesterday, down to 0.9%. The number of victims which, in the last 24 hours, were 69, against 88 yesterday.
Even today there are almost 6 thousand people discharged or recovered, 5,893 to be exact. Number that still favors the decrease of currently positive in the country which, down 4,070 in 24 hours, are now 165,239. A trend that allows Italian hospitals to work with less pressure, thanks to the increasing availability of beds in Covid wards. Those currently employed in the terapie intensive in the country there are 597, down 29 compared to yesterday, while in the other Covid departments 3,876 patients are found, down 277 in 24 hours. Finally, in home isolation there are 160,766, 3,764 fewer than yesterday.
Analyzing the data region by region, it is noted that in absolute values the most affected in the last 24 hours was the Sicily, with 273 registered infections. They follow the Lombardy with 270, the Campania with 199, the Lazio with 169 and the Tuscany with 146.
