Do you want to lose weight? Then you should eat a lot of breakfast

Do you know the saying “Eat like an emperor in the morning, like a king at noon and like a beggar in the evening”? A study has confirmed this saying. The researchers came to the conclusion that a large breakfast can have a positive effect on weight.

Calories in the morning or evening – which is better for losing weight?

The researchers say: Increasing your calorie intake in the morning is good for shedding pounds.

For the study, 30 overweight subjects were put on a diet twice for one month each. The first time you should eat 45 percent of your daily calories in the morning. The second time the same amount in the evening.

The number of calories at lunch remained stable at 35 percent for both rounds. The total amount of calories per day was also the same in both cases.

The researchers were unable to find any differences in overall calorie consumption. But interestingly, after the month of eating a big breakfast, participants reported being much less hungry.

From this, the researchers concluded that a large breakfast can help prevent cravings and make it easier to stick to nutritional goals.

Want to try the breakfast trick? These tips will help

Aim to eat 45 percent of calories at breakfast. Make sure it is a healthy breakfast. Sweets have a lot of calories, but they also make you hungry quickly. Rely on filling ingredients that contain lots of fiber and protein. For example, prepare porridge or scrambled eggs with wholemeal bread. 35 percent of the total calories should end up on your plate at lunchtime and the last 20 percent in the evening. As with breakfast, the calories in these meals should come from healthy, wholesome foods
