To carry out the study, the data of over 200 thousand men were examined and they calculated that every 1.2 hour increase in computer use in free time corresponds to a 3.57 times probability of erectile dysfunction. Computer use is not linked to depression, anxiety or indicators that suggest blood circulation disorders but to the fact that it leads to lower levels of follicle-stimulating hormone which plays a key role in sexual development and reproduction in both males both in females.
Although this study offers substantial evidence regarding excessive PC use being linked to erectile dysfunction, further research is needed to definitively establish its complete validity.
