Face to face with Daisy, the Apple robot that recycles iPhones

In an industrial warehouse on the outskirts of Breda in the Netherlands, we saw for the first time one of the most innovative Apple products of the last decade. It is not a computer, a smartphone or a tablet, but an industrial robot. It is called Daisy e his job is to disassemble the iPhones that have reached the end of their life cycle to recover rare earths, tungsten, aluminum, steel, copper, gold and many other materials with an efficiency unattainable for traditional recycling systems.
