Fostering Emotional Well-Being: Educational Meeting in Sanlúcar

The territorial delegate of Educational Development, Vocational Training and University, Research and Innovation in the province of Cádiz, Isabel Paredes, along with the mayor of Sanlúcar, Carmen Álvarez, kicked off the meeting of nursery schools participating in the ‘Together to Create Emotional Links’ project on emotional health. The gathering is being held at CEIP Maestra Caridad Ruiz until Friday.

The project, led by the Ministry of Education, involves collaboration between Isabel La Católica Infant and Primary schools in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the Germans Corbella school in Barcelona. Isabel Paredes commended teachers and students for their participation, highlighting the importance of creating emotional bonds with educational communities in different regions.

Activities during the week-long event include theatrical performances, interactive groups, literary gatherings, and workshops focusing on emotional well-being. The program aims to equip students with tools for emotional growth and relaxation techniques from a young age.

Guest speakers, including Ramón Barrera Morales, will address topics related to emotional education. Additionally, visits to local attractions in Sanlúcar, such as wineries and the Ducal Palace, are included in the program to enhance the shared educational experience between schools from different regions.

The initiative is seen as an opportunity for growth and educational quality, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for students. The collaboration between schools from various autonomous communities underscores the importance of emotional health and well-being in the education system.
