On Monday, April 22, the Macerata district of Ast and the Inrca of Treia are teaming up to provide free gynecological visits for National Women’s Health Day. The appointments will take place at the clinic in via Largo Belvedere Sanzio in Macerata from 9:30am to 1pm.
In addition to gynecological exams, women can also receive pelvic floor assessments and information on rehabilitation therapy from a team of professionals including gynecologists, midwives, and physiotherapists.
Giovanna Faccenda, the director of the Macerata District, expressed excitement about the collaboration between the two facilities, stating that they are focusing on the diagnosis and rehabilitation of pelvic floor dysfunctions, particularly those related to urinary incontinence.
