German Bundestag – Recruitment of international health professionals

Berlin: (hib/PK) The Union parliamentary group deals with the recruitment of international health professionals in a small question (20/10331). The shortage of personnel in nursing is already dramatic today and will become even worse in the future, according to the request. The federal government is relying on recruiting nursing staff from abroad to combat the shortage of skilled workers and is thus building on the strategies of previous governments.

Among other things, the MPs want to know from the federal government how many nursing staff were recruited in 2022 by agencies that bear the “Fair Recruitment for Care Germany” seal of quality. Further questions relate to the “Triple Win” program for recruiting foreign nursing professionals.
