Rockstar earlier announced a piece of news that may make many players feel sad: they will officially close the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of GTA online mode on December 16, 2021.
The company will also stop selling PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Shark Cash Cards (the in-game payment currency used in GTA Online) after September 15, 2021. However, all the above changes will not have any impact on the story mode of Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar guarantees.
However, it is not just “GTA” that has changed. The website data tracking function of Rockstar Games Social Club for certain PS3 and Xbox 360 games, as well as other functions, will be closed on September 16, 2021:
Website data tracking function, online multiplayer games and leaderboards for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of “Jianghu 3”
Website data tracking function for PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of “L.N.”
