More than 70 graduate students specializing in Commercial Law, Labor Law, and Business Law from Externado University recently participated in the activity ‘Cultivating Harmony’. Organized by University Wellbeing, the event provided a space for students to relax and engage in mindfulness practices.
Led by teacher Ana María Rueda, the participants experienced the effects of music on their body, mind, and emotions. They also engaged in guided meditation to further explore the benefits of this practice. The Medellín extension and Tu Bienestar provided students with items such as books, thermoses, and agendas to enhance their experience.
University Wellbeing aims to promote comprehensive health care for students by offering relaxation spaces through expressive arts, exercise, and movement. Events like ‘Cultivating Harmony’ are part of the active breaks program designed to support graduate students’ well-being.
The message from University Wellbeing to all students is clear: “Live the U, live Your Wellbeing in Medellín!”. The success of this event highlights the importance of self-care and mindfulness practices in academic settings.
