Cities with the Ministry of Health‘s red dot continue to increase, which in its bulletin on heat waves indicates the maximum heat risk for the entire population in 27 urban centers. To the 8 provincial capitals today (Bologna, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Perugia, Rieti, Rome and Viterbo), Campobasso and breaking latest news will be added both tomorrow and Friday, bringing the red dots for the two days to 10.
On the other hand, the orange dots are decreasing, which indicate the maximum level of risk only for the most fragile population (the elderly, children and those with chronic diseases). Today five (Ancona, Bari, Campobasso, breaking latest news and Trieste), the orange stickers will be only two tomorrow (Catania and Messina), and three on Friday (with the addition of Cagliari).
But there are also cities that ‘breathe’ thanks to the bad weather arriving in the North, and which will have the green dot (no risk for the entire population) tomorrow or the day after: we are talking about Verona (green tomorrow and Friday) and, again on Friday, of three other cities. These are Brescia, Milan and Turin.
