Sunday 7 April 2024 it will be possible run to support the Telethon program “Diseases Without Diagnosis”, dedicated to investigating still unknown genetic diseasesto give a diagnosis to many families waiting for an answer.

In fact, the highly anticipated Milan Marathon is back, with its format UniCredit Relay Marathon allows you to run in a relay, raising funds for solidarity projects of over a hundred associations and organisations, including Telethon Foundation. This method of fundraising is very widespread in the running world almost everywhere. In Italy, the UniCredit Relay Marathon it is the largest fundraising event of its kind and includes a non-competitive relay supportive. The route, with start and finish in Corso Venezia, is the same as the Milan Marathon and the start is scheduled 45 minutes after the start of the individual marathon. It winds for 42 km, through the most beautiful points of the city closed to traffic for the occasion and entirely forgiving. Each member of the team, made up of 4 people, will cover a distance between 6 and 14 km, running or walking.

The program “Diseases without diagnosis” of the Telethon Foundation aims to investigate very rare genetic diseases with unknown causes that are still undiagnosablethrough the most modern DNA sequencing technologies.

Companies and individuals can run the Milan Relay Marathon alongside the Telethon Foundation, just form a team team made up of 4 participants and write to the email address [email protected] to be guided step by step in registration.
