by admin

Sicily and Sardinia risk the yellow zone, but not immediately: the restrictions could take effect at the end of the month, if the trend in hospitalizations does not stop. This table shows the latest data underlying the decisions of the Ministry of Health and the government. The numbers show that no reason has yet reached the thresholds which provide for the transition to the yellow zone (50 new infected every week out of 100 thousand inhabitants, 10% of places occupied in intensive care, 15% in the medical area). The trend of hospitalizations – in the medical area and in intensive care – there is concern in some regions: Sardinia (11.2%) is the one with the highest number of places occupied in intensive care, followed by Sicily (6%). As for ordinary posts, in Sardinia the employment rate 7.2, in Sicily 14,1%.
