Satellite connectivity
There is no doubt, however, that the loudest indiscretion concerns the possible presence of satellite connectivity. It was launched by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, usually a very reliable source.
According to him, the new iPhone 13 could – under certain circumstances – connect to low Earth orbit satellites. And this thanks to a new chip created specifically for Apple by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon X65. This, of course, does not mean that the new iPhones will connect to satellites to make phone calls or surf the Internet. But that they could do it in certain contexts, and behind (we assume) precise tariff plans.
The new Watch
A lot of waiting for the new watch too. After all, Apple has been making the Watch a device capable of leaving the crumbs to the competition for a few years now. And after last year’s model, which introduced oxygen measurement, this year with the Watch 7, Apple could carry a body temperature meter on the wrist.
More difficult, however, for blood pressure and glycemic values āāto be integrated already at this launch, technologies that Apple has been working on for years.
Even the design could be, for the first time, revisited, with a slightly larger display in both versions, and with less rounded corners (a bit to follow the design of the new iPhones and the new iPads, which have very squared).
