As we have anticipated, it is on the photos and videos that you see the main upgrades. The photos show brighter results in dark conditions, an improvement over the 12 Pro which already made this aspect one of its major advances over the 11.
There are also new effects, which can be selected before taking the photo, which by adjusting hue and temperature give a different connotation to the images. They look like filters but they are not because they have no effect on some details such as the color of the face.
Another useful novelty is the arrival of autofocus also in the wide-angle camera, the ones that come into play when we choose zoom 0.5. It allows you to focus on a subject up to 2 meters away.
On the videos the professional level of the 12 Pro Max takes a further leap forward. Also comes the cinematrographic effect which is fun. The camera sensor is able to change the subject to be put in the foreground, with a kind of bokeh effect. It can also be changed manually and even in post production. An entertainment function, while it is on classic videos that these iPhones reach professional level performance.
iPhone 13: more than a basic model
The real leap concerns the “basic” model, which is not so basic. Because iPhone 13 is absolutely a top of the range (and after all the price confirms it).
