Having been among the first health workers to have received the two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine but not yet having the Green pass. After months of phone calls and attempts, the solution for a doctor from Como who works in Switzerland has arrived across the border.
Chiara Minelli is from Maslianico and works in a clinic in Switzerland which during the first wave was a reference center for the hospitalization of Covid patients. The professional, in the months of the emergency, was operating in the emergency room and for this reason she was among the first doctors to receive the vaccine.
«I received the first dose in January in Switzerland – he says – while the second dose in February, at the Niguarda in Milan, because due to an overlap of dates I could not get the second dose in Switzerland. I was so interested in registering both vaccinations on my health file and in a short time everything was regular ».
But then, at the time of downloading the Green pass, his does not appear. The doctor turns to the Ministry, with the App Io, to Ats, to the Region. Nothing.
The doctor, resident in Maslianico but a health worker in Switzerland, decides to make an attempt across the border. “I called the cantonal doctor – he concludes – I explained the situation to him and in less than nine minutes from our phone call I received the green pass, which I am already using and which works regularly”.
