It is for these reasons that an award was established in memory of Vera Srebot, daughter of the well-known gynecologist Massimo Srebot and of Marta Lupetti, also a doctor, who passed away in 2014 at the age of thirty. Michele Emdim, director of the Monasterio Foundation , remembers it like this: “A special person, who had graduated from our institute and who at the time of his illness sought contact with that special hospital founded by my teacher, Professor Donato and with the people he had a fraternal familiarity with” . The award is dedicated to young doctors active in the experimental or clinical field in the field of cardiology. “Not only on the basis of the quality of the research projects, but also on the presentation they make about themselves, on the motivations that pushed them towards the profession medical “, explained Emdim.
