“Submit your request to access the incentive as soon as possible because, in addition to the income requirement, the timing factor also counts.”
This is the appeal of the president of the National Council of the Order of Psychologists (CNOP), David Lazzari, on the eve of the start of applications for the psychologist bonus, from Monday 18 March until 31 May, for those resident in Italy and with ISEE not exceeding 50 thousand euros, for a maximum contribution of 1,500 euros per person only once for each year. At the same time, an information campaign is also starting to access the bonus with a video that will also be broadcast on the Rai networks.
In Italy, Lazzari recalls, “according to our survey there are 5 million potential patients, that is, people who would like to turn to a psychologist-psychotherapist but do not have the economic resources to do so”.
From the first data that emerged during the first edition of the bonus, women and those under 35 are the population groups that show the greatest hardship. “We are not talking about the most serious disorders at the top of the pyramid, those which require treatments including pharmacological treatments, but – explains Lazzari to ANSA – those linked to the most widespread forms of discomfort, which concern anxiety, mood, adaptation disorders and development due to stress”.
Responding to the bonus call was a task force of over 25 thousand professionals “and – underlines Lazzari – I proudly say that we have recorded great availability with important numbers distributed throughout the national territory”.
