On the second evening of Sanremo 2024, the audience was treated to a visual feast as the performers showcased their fashion choices on stage. Co-hosting with Amadeus, Giorgia wowed the crowd not only with her songs but also with her stunning Christian Dior outfits, specially created for her by the creative director of the fashion house, Maria Grazia Chiuri. The couturier had prepared 25 hyper-embroidered tuxedos for Amadeus for this edition of the festival.
Giorgia made a grand entrance onto the stage of the Ariston Theatre in a captivating black tailcoat, white shirt, and bow tie, paired with mini-shorts and leather thigh-high boots. Her hair was styled in a Thirties-inspired look, adding to the overall vintage aesthetic. Throughout the evening, Giorgia continued to impress with her retro looks, including a black dress embroidered with jais and a nude-colored mini dress adorned with beaded fringes.
Dargen D’amico sported a suit in the shades of the sea, with a maxi moon printed on the jacket, reflecting the themes of his song “Onda alta”. Rick Owens’ total black look for Mahmood, consisting of high-waisted trousers and a blouse leaving one shoulder uncovered, also garnered attention. The Il Volo trio opted for black and white suits by Emporio Armani, a departure from their previous kimono look.
Rose Villain caught the eye of the audience in a sculptural silver dress with three-dimensional fabric, while Annalisa donned a black tuxedo by Dolce & Gabbana, showcasing the exposed guepiere underneath. Emma chose a black minidress by Mugler paired with patent leather thigh-high boots by Casadei, creating a sleek yet bold look. The French Saints once again donned Dolce & Gabbana, Alessandra Amoroso chose a nude ensemble by Roberto Cavalli, and Big Mama presented a striking Madonna-inspired look.
