He is an Italian tourist on first recorded case of monkeypox in Cuba. This was announced last night by the Cuban Ministry of Health, specifying that the tourist is arrived on the island last August 15 and is now hospitalized in conditions defined as critical. The man was staying in a rented house and visited several locations in the western Cuban provinces before feeling ill on Wednesday. The conditions then worsened and last Thursday he was hospitalized in intensive care.
