Stroke prevention, valve repair: what can be done with interventional cardiology

For the optimistic, there is certainly something to be satisfied. Compared to what happened before the Covid “watershed”, Tavi’s surgeries for aortic valve stenosis, mitral valve repair and minimally invasive stroke prevention surgeries have reached and even exceeded pre-pandemic levels. Only for angioplasty are we a few steps behind. But surely seeing the glass half full is not out of place.
